Mood Disorders Ottawa
MDO is a registered nonprofit, volunteer-run organization
that supports people with mood disorders and their loved ones.

Tuesday 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Join us at The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus in the big, bright, beautiful Tulip Café Conference Room! (see map and directions below)
MDO peer support groups offer a safe, supportive environment surrounded by adults 18+ years of age with a mood disorder who 'get it'. Please come contribute to a friendly, confidential discussion of mental health-related topics and personal issues.
Directions:
-
Enter the hospital through the main entrance
-
Stop and sign in with the security officer stationed in front of the elevators across the hall from Tim Horton’s and receive a visitor badge (Security is set up here for safety after regular work hours to monitor who enters the building - if there is no security officer on site, proceed to the meeting room)
-
Walk straight down the main hallway (shown by the red arrows on the map) until you reach a large open area and see the “Tulip Cafe” sign above
-
Follow the arrow slightly left through the large double doors and enter the cafeteria
-
Walk straight until you can turn left and head towards the cash registers
-
Turn right and walk past all of the cash registers
-
The Tulip Conference room will be directly in front of you
-
An illuminated sign beside the door will read “Mood Disorders Ottawa – MDO”
-
Parking on community streets around the hospital is free after 5pm
-
Welcome to MDO’s new program and peer support location!
