Scribble Into Spring's creative exercises begin with brief meditation and draw on simple natural processes such as breathing, trees growing and birds building nests. The goals of the workshop are to harness the positive energies of late spring, find ways to calm difficult states of mind, have fun with self-expression and support one another through these difficult Covid19 times.
No previous art experience or “talent” is needed and materials are those that people often have at home: colored pencils and/or crayons, letter-sized paper (ideally sketch paper, but other types will do), scissors and glue.
If you are missing any of these things we will see if there is a way to arrange for you to get them. The workshop will be delivered by Zoom, which is a user-friendly software that allows people to see one another and share materials through video meetings.
